  • a structured play environment which develops their motor skills and self confidence
  • an individualised and age appropriate learning programme to equip them to be independent and inquisitive.

Activities include

  • play to develop cognitive skills, imagination and self esteem
  • games, stories and drama to develop literacy and numeracy
  • computer integrated learning
  • swimming, ice skating
  • cooking, art, craft, music
  • local trips e. g. farms, museums, woodlands
  • German oral classes

As parents, you are encouraged to participate in all the activities  whenever possible and to bring your expertise into the classroom to share with us. The aim of this early start programme is to build up your child for Primary success and beyond.

If you would like to see us at work, and talk to the children and their teachers, please phone our admissions registrar, Yvonne Ging, on 720 31 10 for an appointment. Before you decide on enrolment you are welcome to try your child for a morning or afternoon session. Your child can start at any time in the year, provided they are toilet trained. We encourage every child to rest or sleep in the afternoon after lunch time play.

We know from experience that beginning kindergarten is a big step in your child´s life - but it can also be a giant step in your life as a parent. You can rest assured, that in our care your child will build happily on the foundations you have already laid down and achieve a successful and rewarding school life.

On behalf of all your child´s teachers I would like to welcome you to our school community.
