Danube International School Vienna is an IB World School located in an elegant urban building in Vienna, Austria. We deliver the IB Diploma and IB Middle Years Programmes and are an IB Primary Years Programme candidate school with verification due in 2012. DISV was founded in 1992 and now has 515 students on roll. There are currently vacancies for the 2012-13 academic year in the following positions:

Early Years Teacher (3 to 5 year olds)

General Science and Biology Teacher - Grades 6-10 with the possibility of Theory of Knowledge

German Teacher

Extra-Curricular Leader (The job description can be found below)

Applicants for teaching posts should hold a university degree and teaching qualification and have at least 2 years of teaching experience. We are a family school and collaboration across the grade levels and sections of the school are encouraged. Candidates Beware of Recruiting Scams

DISV will never ask or require teacher candidates to send money for application fees, interview fees, visas, plane tickets or other costs associated with recruitment or moving to Austria. We will not ask potential teachers for information related to bank accounts or other private information. If you have been asked by DISV or another international school to send money to cover such costs, you are probably the target of an elaborate scam. Several good international schools have recently had their web sites cloned, and candidates have been asked to send large amounts of money. All international candidates are urged to be diligent in investigating potential schools during the recruiting process and prior to signing a contract. Use extreme caution if you have been asked for money or private information.
